Research Interests
Dr. Amjad is a drug and gene delivery specialist. Over his career he has developed and characterized polymeric micelles, nanoparticles, buccal films, transdermal patches, floating RAFT systems (FRS), microsponges, oral strips, and hydrogels for the targeted delivery of a range of drugs and genes. Currently, he is working on the development of microbubble formulations for the treatment of microvascular obstruction and cancer.
