Education

After obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine where he graduated with honors, Dr. Moguillansky trained in cardiology at the Cardiovascular Institute and Bazterrica Clinic in Argentina from 2000-2002. He then finished a residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia from 2002-2006, followed by his current fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. In addition to working as a pediatric cardiologist, Dr. Moguillansky researches the potential for using contrast and molecular ultrasound to image vasa-vasorum and neovascularization in atherosclerotic models at the Center for Ultrasound Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics. Dr. Moguillansky is an Associate Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Heart Association, and the American Society of Echocardiography.
